Hyundai’s new UX Studio, currently under construction at the Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) in Irvine, is designed to offer a dynamic, immersive environment for evaluating car designs and technologies. The studio features an evaluation studio, a simulation room, an office area, conference rooms, and a hospitality bar. The facility also boasts an outdoor auto show garden, a space designed for events and as a contemplative garden for HATCI employees.

The sweeping design of the wood-panel "ribbon" and the ceiling in the evaluation studio draw inspiration from the fluid smoke streams of automotive wind tunnel tests, echoing Hyundai’s commitment to aerodynamic innovation. Operable glazed walls create flexibility and enhance the connection between the indoor and outdoor environments. The redesigned outdoor auto show garden doubles the size of the evaluation studio and provides a natural, tranquil setting for users to engage with Hyundai's evolving car technologies.
